These are a selected few of the many cheeses available for sampling at this French Cheese Event:  Chaumes - a cow's milk cheese from the SW of France, Petit(P'tit) Basque - a French creation made from pasteurized sheep's milk, Saint-Andre -  a triple créme cow's milk cheese, Brie - a soft cow's milk cheese named after the French Region Brie.

Gathering at The Cheeses of France Summer 2013 New York

 

Invited guests share tastings talk and enjoy food samplings with known French cheese & contest "mystery" cheese. Dishes included cheeseburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and "mac"aroni & cheese. Guests were given an opportunity to sample and identify the unknown cheese additions.
